Customized applicability

The two system components, capturing and absorbing CO₂ from a gas mixture using a membrane contactor and release a pure CO₂ gas phase using an electrodialysis unit, have a modular design. This means that systems can be provided which can be optimized for both, the CO₂ content of a gas mixture to be captured, and the quantity of CO₂ to be absorbed and released. The possibility of simple intermediate storage of pressureless bound aqueous CO₂ derivatives increases the possible degrees of freedom in the technical design and operational management.

Customized solutions

The technical configuration options allow their use in a wide variety of applications for the separation of CO₂ or other water-soluble gas components as required. We also intend to offer individual solutions for gas mixtures that contain other water-soluble gas components in addition to CO₂, with the aim of being able to separate these selectively. The operational management can also be individualized, for example, the plant capacity can be reduced or operated completely discontinuously without any loss of energy.

Customized products

The process technology enables the obtainment of pure gases, in particular CO₂, but also inert gases such as CO or hydrocarbons. It is also possible to make various carbonates available in micro-particulate form.
