to our visionsWe turn carbon dioxide into a resource
… however, this is an indispensable prerequisite for the sustainable recycling of CO₂.
Mankind has not yet succeeded in artificially reproducing the process of photosynthesis, which plants
and some microorganisms use to transform CO₂ into carbon compounds.
Over the last 120 years, however, numerous processes have been developed to enable the chemical or
biological conversion of CO₂ into carbon compounds.
Many of these processes are already at a stage of technical development where they can be operated
on an industrial scale.
Until now, however, there has been no process that makes it possible to provide CO₂ from any source
in any quantity and in a directly pure form by means of a safe and environmentally friendly process,
Carbon dioxide is the basic material for life and energy in nature.
We see it differently.
Carbon dioxide is often regarded as a worthless combustion product of carbon compounds.
